What this is all about - West African Businesses Online.....!

For us, Ladies & Gentlemen, the reason for starting this forum is to provide a means and opportunity for the business-minded among us to promote, advertise, seek information and other things among ourselves.  Unlike other groups that exist on the internet, ours is devoted exclusively to the pursuit of business and finance opportunities in the West African region (Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Chad, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria,   Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo). 

 
We believe that by sharing information among ourselves we can advance our individual causes.  Sometimes, we find in life by asking others we gather information that help us.  The information is out there, but we sometimes do not know where to find it.  Or do not have access to it.  We hope this forum will bridge that gap.  We can never always have the things we need, we sometimes require the support or help or information from others to get things and get them done. 
 
We have started a website - http://www.westafricabizonline.com .  We currently have an offline database of over 10,000 companies.  We would like you to register your company.  This database will eventually become an online searchable database.  As an incentive to make the database grow:  we will give you a free website for a year upon verification for those that forward the e-mail addresses of a 100 others for inclusion.  There is a discussion group for our members. 
 
The main purpose of this forum will be met by advertising to ourselves and creating a website that has searchable a database of information pertaining to our members.  The criteria for inclusion is that the business has to meet one of the following option:
 
 
1.    A West African based business or organization.
2.    A business owned and operated by a West African.

3.    Doing business or proposing to do business with a West African   ___ country, business or organization.

4.    Or just trying to.

 

If you have a website already, we have started a West African Businesses Online Webring for those that already have a website.  As a further means to make your business or organization.
